Bole Nangodi Gold Belt

The region is dominated by a relaivly broad, highly dissected volcanic belt which is only well exposed at teh north end but mainly overrlain by volta basin sediments towrds the south where it joins up with the bole belt 

 

Sefwi Mineralization Belt

The regional geology of the Sefwi Mineralisation Belt is dominated by the Paleoproterozoic aged Birimian metasediments and metavolcanics. Rocks of this age form part of the West African Craton and are important hosts for significant gold resources. 

Coat of Arms of Iceland

The coat of arms of Iceland displays a silver-edged, red cross on blue shield. This alludes to the design of the flag of Iceland. The supporters are the four protectors of Iceland standing on a pahoehoe lava block.
